Nemaha County Jail uses Video Visitation as a way for family and friends to remain in contact with loved ones. Inmates are allowed up to three (3), twenty-five (25) minute visits per week. Visits can be scheduled seven days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Video visits will be cancelled if the inmate is on restriction.
To schedule a visit, you will need a computer or internet enabled mobile device with a speaker, camera and high-speed internet. Please use Chrome browser. If you do not have access to a computer or mobile device, you may also use the kiosks located in the lobby of the Sheriff’s Office. The following steps must be followed in order to visit an inmate:

- Choose your facility and a product (remote or onsite visit)
- Enter your personal information
- Purchase minutes
- Schedule a visit
- To visit with a Mobile device, download the app, login and visit
The Nemaha County Jail will then initiate the approval process. If you have active warrants, are currently out on bond or are on probation/parole, you will not be approved to visit. You will receive a notification advising you whether you have been approved or denied for visits.
All video visitations are recorded and monitored at all times. Any nudity, sexually suggestive actions and/or language, threats or intimidation will result in a permanent email and visitation ban at the Nemaha County Jail.
IMPORTANT: The Sheriff or his designated representative may cancel any visitation or remove any visitor who violates a jail rule, or any person who, in their opinion, poses a threat to Jail security or to another inmate, visitor or staff member.
EMAILS TO INMATES
You can also purchase the ability to send your loved one emails through InmateSales.com.
As with visitation, you will be notified when your request to send emails is approved.
All emails are recorded and monitored. Any sexually suggestive photographs, comments threats or intimidation made through email will result in a permanent ban from this privilege.
